Due to our expertise at securing the best plates for sale,  the best buyers to purchase them and our appointed expert auctioneer Bernard Booth, we have broken several SA sales records for historic plates at our The Great Plate AuctionTM II, III and IV live auction events, held at Solitaire Automotive in Dec 2012, Adelaide Motors BMW on December 11th, 2011 and at Mercedes-Benz of Adelaide, on Feb 13th, 2011.

 

We have sold two of the five saleable single digit plates via private treaty, and at auction have sold the only rare and valuable 2-digit plates to have changed hands in SA in the past few years (nine plates in total), and have sold well over 30 x SA 3-digit plates, a record unrivalled by anyone in Australia.

The sale under the hammer of SA '21' and '22' as a single lot is a South Austrlian numberplate sale price record for a single lot at auction, and the sale of SA '3000' was anoher SA record price being the highest price ever achieved for a 4-digit plate at auction in SA.
